Top Ten Tuesday ~ My Fall TBR

I'm linking up with That Artsy Reader Girl to share this week's top ten list.

I love fall reading! The best books come out in the cooler months. I mean, some people get cooler months. It's still 90 degrees in Florida. But I know cool weather's coming, so I won't let the heat get me down. Here are the books I'm looking forward to reading this fall.

Shelter of the Most High (Cities of Refuge, #2)Virgil WanderLegacy of Mercy (Waves of Mercy #2)

The Christmas Heirloom: Four Holiday Novellas of Love Through the GenerationsJerusalem's Queen: A Novel of Salome Alexandra (The Silent Years, #3)

It's Not Supposed to Be This Way: Finding Unexpected Strength When Disappointments Leave You ShatteredThe Bride of Ivy Green (Tales from Ivy Hill, #3)The Solace of Water

From the Backlist

Like every reader out there, I love new releases. However, there are so many great books on my Kindle and my unread shelf that are being neglected in favor of the books that are shiny and new. I thought it would be fun to feature some of the books that have been on my TBR for a while, and give them a little love.

Behind the Scenes (Apart from the Crowd, #1)
Behind the Scenes

I can't believe I've never read a book by Jen Turano. I have several on my Kindle, but I think I will probably start with this one. It's the first book in her current series. Have you read any of Jen Turano's books? Let me know in the comments.

Can't Wait for The Christmas Heirloom

I'm linking up with Wishful Endings to share an upcoming release I'm excited about.

What I'm waiting for:
The Christmas Heirloom: Four Holiday Novellas of Love Through the Generations

When does it release? October 2, 2018

Why am I waiting? I don't usually read novellas, but this one looks really interesting. I like the idea of connecting the stories with a brooch that's passed down. I also have missed Sarah Loudin Thomas' writing. I'm excited to read her story, and I hope she has a full length novel coming out soon.

Top Ten Tuesday ~ Hidden Gems

I'm linking up with That Artsy Reader Girl to share this week's top ten list.

Sometimes I feel like the same books get all the attention. Maybe they are being endorsed by a celebrity, or maybe they just got a lot of ARCs out into the world. I love new books and best sellers, but I also love to find a book no one  is talking about and sing its praises. Here are a few books that are in my opinion hidden gems.

FloraThe Night the Lights Went OutThe Lost Book of the Grail

Doesn't She Look Natural? The Feathered BoneAll Right Here (The Darlings #1)

The Two-Family HouseExcellent Women

After the Leaves Fall (Threads of Change #1)The Magic of Ordinary Days
