Happy December! Here are my November reads.
Sightings
I've been a fan of Lynn Austin's fiction for years. She is a wonderful storyteller, and she brings that talent into her new devotional study. This is a ten week study with a reading for five days of the week and a "something more" reading that can be done on the weekend. I loved each of these insightful readings that pointed out ways God shows himself in our everyday lives. Highly recommended. I received a free ebook from the author for review, but I also purchased a copy for myself.
Flight of the Raven
This was a great follow up to The Mark of the Raven. The amazing world building and the character development continue. I am loving this series, and I can't wait to see what happens next.

Strange Weather in Tokyo
I read this book for the Modern Mrs. Darcy reading challenge. It was very strange. It really missed the mark for me. If you're looking for something different and whimsical, you might want to give it a try. Otherwise, I'd skip it.
The Bright Unknown
I love to find authors that write heavier, character driven stories that are still are interesting and make me want to turn the pages. This book was so fascinating. I loved the characters and the setting. The treatment of the patients at the asylum was heart breaking and difficult to read about. I was rooting for Bright and Angel the whole time and the author really kept me guessing. I highly recommend the book if you like more serious historical fiction.

It Happened at Christmas
Super cute retelling of the movie
While You Were Sleeping with some fairy tale elements as well. I loved it, and highly recommend adding it to your holiday reading list.
Echoes Among the Stones
If you love a good mystery, you'll love this book. There are so many interesting elements to this book. I loved the quirky characters and the atmospheric setting. There are some creepy elements too, but it's not scary at all. The mystery kept me guessing the whole time. I highly recommend this book to lovers of dual time line books and mysteries.

Then There Was You
This was a fun contemporary romance set in Australia. I really enjoyed the Hillsong vibes and all the "mega church" references. It was really cute and I would recommend it of your in the mood for romance.
