My Life According to Literature

I got this idea from Carrie at Reading is My Super Power. I thought it looked fun. I'll be using Christian fiction titles to answer all of the questions.

How do you feel today?
Disillusioned
It's been a rough couple of weeks.

Describe where you currently live.
Burning Sky
I live in Florida. It's hot.

If you could go anywhere, where would you go?
 Taking Tuscany (A.J., #2)
I think Italy would be beautiful.

Your favorite form of transportation.
A Flying Affair
I don't really like to fly, but it's faster than driving.

Your best friend is?
It Had to Be You (Christiansen Family, #2)
My husband.

What's the weather like?
Barefoot Summer (Chapel Spring, #1)
There wasn't a title that said "it's still so freakin hot!"

Your fear?
Just Shy of Harmony (Harmony, #2)
I'm afraid of being a little pitchy when I sing in public.

What's the best advice you have to give?
Return to Me (The Restoration Chronicles #1)
However far you've gone, God's always there waiting.

Thought for the day?
Listen
Talk less. Listen more.

How would you like to die?
She's in a Better Place (Fairlawn, #3)
How I die doesn't matter cuz I know where I'm going.

Your soul's present condition.
Waves of Mercy
God's mercy is overwhelming.

That was a lot of fun, and a lot of typing. I'm not a big fan of the typing. Make sure you check out Carrie's post, and let me know of you do this tag on your blog.

Top Ten Tuesday ~ Characters That Deserve Their Own Books

Today's top ten is characters that need their own book. This is an interesting topic. There are always characters in the back ground that are some what mysterious. Here are a few that I feel have a story to tell.

768950 This series focused on Susan Mitchell, but I would love to learn more about what happened to her son Jake after the series was over. I also would like a prequel about her husband Mark and his early days in our reality. And I think Kieran and Nolan deserve their own book as well.

1793400 Aunt Birdie is a charming, loveable character. I would love a prequel focusing on her love story, but I would need to keep the tissues handy.

9523275 Etzel Stifflebeam and Mina Klug need their own story. And it better be a romance. That's all I'm sayin'.

2970548 I loved this book, but I really feel like there was a lot of story left to tell. Elin, Kirsten and Sofia each need their own book.

Top Ten Tuesday ~ Books to Reread

Today I am linking up with The Broke and the Bookish for Top Ten Tuesday. Today's top ten list is books I want to reread. I'm kind of excited about this list, because I have been rereading books lately. I want to be purposeful next year about rereading some old favorites, too. So, here some books I would like to read again.

Sword of Lyric

Threads of Change

Chronicles of Narnia
11127

Lord of the Rings
33

Jane Eyre
9715309

Persuasion
468274

Do you like to Reread books, or are you a one time only reader? I'm usually a one timer, but I find as I get older, I forget a lot of the details. I'm looking forward to refreshing my memory with these.

Waiting on Wednesday ~ Esther: Royal Beauty by Angela Hunt

Today I am linking up with Breaking the Spine for Waiting on Wednesday. Here is the book I am most anxiously waiting on;

22504506

When it will release: January 6, 2014

Why I am waiting: I have been a fan of Angela Hunt for about 20 years. The first book I read by her was Afton of Margate Castle. She set the bar high for me for Christian Historical Fiction. she has been writing more contemporary women's fiction lately, so I am giddy that she is going back into the historical. This will one I will probably go ahead and pay full price for. Thankfully, I should have some Christmas money to work with.

What books are you looking forward to?

Top Ten Tuesday ~ Favorite Creepy Books

Here are some books that have given me the creeps. Just a note: it doesn't take much!

10358483169238521612411811800313819789385989621894143448239906365006

These are all great reads. Flowers in the Attic has some "stuff" in it that I would not recommend for a less mature crowd. It definitely falls into the guilty pleasure category. I think The Oath is about the scariest book I have ever read. What books have creeped you out? Check out more creepy reads at The Broke and the Bookish.
