Best Books of Winter 2019

I thought it would be fun at the start of a new season to take a moment and reflect on some of my favorite reads from the past few months. It's already warming up here in sunny Florida, and we just had spring break this past week. Spring is a busy season for my family, but I'm still hoping to get some reading in. Here are some of the books that made an impact on me this past winter.

For what ever reason, I tend to be drawn to stand alone novels. I think I just get board with the same story drawn out over a long period of time. I would, however, like to know what is going on in the lives of some of my favorite characters after the story ends. maybe it's the mom in me. I just need to know every one is okay.
