The Choosing
I really enjoyed this debut novel. I had been looking for a good dystopian series to start, and this one was what I was looking for. It was different from a lot of other dystopians. A lot of history is given on how things became the way they are, which I appreciated. The love story is well developed, and there is a mystery through out the story that lends a creepy feeling to the whole thing. There are a couple of cheesy scenes, but otherwise it is a real page turner with a satisfying ending. I am looking forward to reading book two when it comes out.
