Top Ten Tuesday ~ Big Creepy Houses

Here are some books where the house takes on a life of it's own. Not literally, but the houses in these books are almost more of a character than a setting. Some of them hold lots of secrets, and some of them are a bit creepy.

Dawn at Emberwilde (Treasures of Surrey, #2)The Sea Keeper's Daughters (Carolina #3)
Shadows of Ladenbrooke ManorSecret of Pembrooke Park
Mist of Midnight (Daughters of Hampshire, #1)Afloat
False Pretenses (Secrets of Roux River Bayou, #1)The Muir House
A Sound Among the TreesThe Thirteenth Tale

Check out more top ten lists at The Broke and the Bookish.

  2. Of the ones you have read, which would you recommend most?
