Top Ten Tuesday ~ Books That Deserve a Re-read

I'm linking up with That Artsy Reader Girl to share this week's top ten list.

I'm not a big re-reader. There are so many books to read that it feels like a waste of time to read books that I have already read. Still, there are books that I see on my keeper shelf that scream for another read. Whether it's because there's a movie coming out or I'm getting fuzzy on the details, here are some books that I may pick up again in the near future.

The Chronicles of Narnia (Chronicles of Narnia, #1-7)Jane EyreA Wrinkle in Time (A Wrinkle in Time Quintet, #1)

PersuasionThe Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society

Redeeming LoveThe Magic of Ordinary DaysA Proper Pursuit

Big Little LiesSecrets of a Charmed Life

What books do you want to re-read? Let me know in the comments.

  1. Great list! I want to reread Big Little Lies, especially with the TV show being such a big hit. I just finished listening to The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe, and that was fun. And Jane Eyre is one of my favorites!

  2. Jane Eyre gets better every time I reread it.

Honestly, the adaptations of the first couple of Chronicles of Narnia books that came out in 2005 and 2010 were so good that I think it's okay to watch them instead of reading the books.

Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.

  4. Several of these are well-loved by me. Some I've reread and some not. Persuasion, Big Little Lies, Redeeming Love, Jane Eyre and especially the Guernsey book. I really need to visit that one again.

  5. I've read many of the books above and need to take time to re-read them again. I didn't realize Magic of Ordinary Days was a book; the Hallmark movie is one of my favorites. Definitely going to read this one too! Lovely post and a wonderful reminder of so many great books!
